Friends of the Issaquah Library

Membership

Individuals or families may join Friends of the Issaquah Library by completing a membership form available at the Issaquah Library Circulation Desk.  Annual dues are $10 for individuals, $20 for families.

Members receive advance email notification of the Spring and Fall Book Sale fund raising events.  Members are invited to the special Preview Sales to get first choice of thousands of books, DVDs, CDs, collectibles, children’s books, and mass market paperbacks at bargain prices.

Proceeds from Friends events are used to fund Issaquah library programs for children, teens and adults.  A list of current programs is available at the Issaquah Library or via the KCLS.org website.

Interesting in being a Volunteer?

Volunteer opportunities exist for members and their friends:

· Ongoing Book Sale

Volunteers are need to sort donated books and stock the sale shelves on a weekly basis.

· Spring and Fall Book Sales

Volunteers are needed twice a year for sale setup, book sorting, sales and restocking sale tables

· Book Shelf Program

Volunteers needed 2-3 times per month to distribute new books at the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank
